You want to be careful, Dee. Posting the same problem repeatedly isn't going to help.

 

Inverse variation means y = k/x.

If y = 8 when k = 19, then 8 = 19 / x.

Multiply both sides by x, and divide both sides by 8, and get

 

x = 19/8
