(-3w³ + 7w² - 11w - 6) - (w³ - 3w² + w - 1)

   = -3w³ + 7w² - 11w - 6 - w³ + 3w² - w + 1

   = -4w³ + 10w² - 12w - 5

 

This does not match any of the choices you gave, but it's probably d) that's correct. (You may have mistyped the exponent on the second term).
