First, we want to isolate all of the terms to one side to set the equation equal to zero:
15x2 = 5 + 10x
15x2 - 10x - 5 = 0
Now, we can factor out the GCF:
5(3x2 - 2x - 1) = 0
Factor the trinomial:
5(3x + 1)(x - 1) = 0
To find our zeroes, we set each factor equal to zero and solve:
3x + 1 = 0
3x = -1
x = -1/3
x - 1 = 0
x = 1
Our zeroes for this function are x = -1/3 and x = 1
