Factor the following trinomial completely. Look first for the greatest common factor.
20x4 4-37x3+15x2


If the problem is 20x⁴ -37x³+15x²,   the coefficients of the three terms are 20 , -37 , and 15.  Since -37 is prime, there is no GCF.  What left x⁴, x³, and x².  The GCF is x² so that can be factored out.

 

                         20x⁴ -37x³+15x²

                  =x²(20x²-37x+15)
