Multiply the following binomials.
(x-8)(x+2)

I would use the FOIL method to multiply these out!

(x - 8)(x + 2)

=x^2 - 8x + 2x - 16

=x^2 - 6x - 16

Answer 2

x(x+2) - 8(x+2)

 

= x^2 + 2x -8x - 16

 

= x^2 -6x - 16

 

this is called foil here we use the first , outside, inside and last terms  solve.
