                         Hi Jared.... With exponents Multiply the numbers and  ADD the

                                     exponents when multiplying.

 

 

                                             1.3

                                           x 2.7

                                        ________

                                        = 3.51                        Now Add the exponents (5+7)=12

 

 

                     We have  3.51 x10^12
