Simplify this expression. If the answer contains exponents, all exponents should be positive.

(y²)³/y⁴ = y^2·3/y⁴      (power property of exponents)

 

            = y⁶/y⁴

 

            = y^6-4          (quotient property of exponents)

 

            = y²
