The answer is -216/y^3
I think the best way to approach these is make an analogy to simple numbers...
For example, how would you do (2/3)^3?
This is (2/3)*(2/3)*(2/3) = (2*2*2)/(3*3*3) = 8/27
The problem above is no different other than there being a variable instead of a constant number. however the math is the same.
