A plastic container has the shape of a rectangular solid. Find the volume of the container if the length is 11 inches, the width is 5.6 inches, and the height is 2 inches.

Hi Candice-

To get the volume, multiply the length times the width times the height. So:

11 in x 5.6 in x 2 in = 123.2 .  It's important that you make sure all of the dimensions are in the same units (in this case inches) before you multiply them together.
