miles of road each hour. They must repave a road that is

miles long. How long will it take the crew to repave the road?

put together a ratio, so (note it's given as miles/hr, while I flipped the whole ratio to hr/mile)

 

1 hr/120 miles = x hr/45 miles

 

1 hr x 45 miles/ 120 miles = x hrs

 

1 hr x 3/8 = 3/8 hr or 22.5 minutes
