Hi Samuel, the graphing of 1 ≤ x ≤ 5, can be done using the number line. On the number line you use two different symbols.
Here are the combination you can use:
Use ( for greater than.
Use ) for less than.
Use [ for greater than or equal to.
Use ] for less than or equal to.
For x greater than some number and less than some other number, use (a, b).
For x greater than or equal to some number and less than or equal to some other number, use [a, b].
Other combinations are, (a, b] and [a, b)
Number line:
The number line is usually centered around 0 like this:

-3 -2 -1 1 2 3
For 1 ≤ x ≤ 5, we would write, [1, 5] and have the following on the number line:
