Completing the square to find the vertex

f(x)=-3x2-2+1
I tried it and I got (-3x2-2x+1)-6 after completing the square, then I factored it and got (-3x+1)(x+1)-6 , if I did it correctly how am I supposed to get a vertex from that? Or did I factor it wrong? Is it possible to get a vertex from this function?
