slope of line:        ( y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

(2, 7) and (6, -3)

(-3 - 7)/(6 - 2) ---> -10/4--->-5/2

so slope is -5/2

Δx = 2, Δy = -5

another point is (2 + Δx, 7 + Δy) or (2 + 2, 7 - 5) ---> (4, 2)
