if a circle has an area of 7850 yards squared what if the diameter use 3.14 pi

please help this is very urgent due tomorrow Help

A = πr2
7850 = (3.14)r2
2498.73261 ≈ r2
49.9873245 ≈ r       Let's call it 50.
 
The diameter is 100 yards.

Note:   7850/3.14 is exactly 50, so r=exactly 25   (the value of Pi is estimated to be 3.14).

Alas, 7850/3.14 is exactly 50*50 (or 2500), so r=50.

You are absolutely correct. My error was doing the calculation on a calculator using π.
