Her results are shown in the probability distribution table below. Find the probability that the MP3 player will play 1 or 2 songs by “The Googly Girls” each hour.

Using the "or" function allows for multiple results in this probability equation.  "or" is the clue.

 

Probability of 1 + Probability of 2 = Probability of 1 or 2

 

.67 + .14 = .81
