In linear algebra, the transpose of a matrix simply switches the rows and columns. So the first column becomes the first row, second column second row, etc.
So if B= 2 -2 1 4
0 0 -3 2
BT= 2 0
So if B= 2 -2 1 4
0 0 -3 2
BT= 2 0
-2 0
1 3
4 2
1 3
4 2
