in order to be admitted for a certain ride at an amusement park a child must be greater than or equal to 36 inches tall and less than 48 inches tall. Draw a graph that represents these conditions

To draw this graph, we draw a number line that contain these numbers.  Label the number line starting from 35 and ending in 50.

 

On the number line, draw a closed circle at 36.  Draw an open circle at 48.  Once you have drawn those circles, connect them by drawing a line.

 

The line between these circles including the closed circle represents the allowable ages for the ride.
