let's say that the number is x.
Note that the number gives a remainder 3 less than 7,8, and 9, namely 4, 5, and 6.
So, x can be any common multiple of 7,8, and 9 minus 3.
For example,
x = 7*8*9 - 3 = 501 is such a number.
