How to find the answer of maximum and minimum height in a range using for loop, if else and find function in Matlab language

 

The range is x = [1 2 5 0 2 3]

that should give the highest jump value of x in 'k' and vector position where jump occurred in 'y'

 

the answer is k = 5 and y = 3

i need the same answer by solving it using for loop and if else condition in Matlab language.
