A parallelogram has opposite sides parallel and same length
P = 2L + 2W
2L + 2W = 72
W = L-4
Replace W with 'L-4' in the first equation to find the length
2L + 2(L-4) = 72
2L + 2L - 8 = 72
4L = 80
L = 20
W = L-4 = 20-4 = 16
The length is 20m and the width is 16m
