121 ft / sec  ·  3600 sec / hour

435600 ft / hour

 

435600 ft / hour · 1 mile / 5280 ft

82.5 mile / hour

 

The Robins pitcher throws faster.

You could also go the other direction if you desired and

convert 90 mph into ft per sec

 

Robins pitcher:  (90 miles/hour)(5280 feet/mile)(1 hour/3600 seconds)

                        = 90(5280)/3600 = 132 ft/sec

 

The robins pitcher throws faster by 12 ft/sec
