Find the total area from two shapes

Zach works for a landscaping company and needs to know how much grass to order for his next project. The lawn is rectangular with a triangular top at the roadway. The property is 100 feet wide and it is 80 feet to the road at one side and 110 feet to the road at the other side.

Hello. I am just not sure how to find the height of the triangle. If I split the 110 ft to the road and 80 feet to the road, I can split the figure into two shapes: a rectangle and a triangle.
I know that the width of the rectangle is 100 ft, and the length can be any arbitrary number less than 80, but both sides of length must match, as it is a rectangle.
So I split it up, I made the length of the rectangle 50 ft by 100 ft. Thus, the length of the triangle are 30 feet (80-50), 60 feet (110 - 50) and 100 feet.
I just don't know how to get the height... Please help.

110 ft llllllllllllllllllllllll  80 ft

            100 ft
You could split this into a triangle and rectangle like this:
             l
             lllll
(110-80)llllllllll
            lllllllllllllllll
            llllllllllllllllllllllll
              100
For the triangle and:
llllllllllllllllllllllll
llllllllllllllllllllllll 80 ft
llllllllllllllllllllllll
llllllllllllllllllllllll
llllllllllllllllllllllll
     100 ft
For the rectangle.
If only we could draw pictures with lines. I hope this helps some.

Thank you so much! I was stuck on this question for a time that I deem to be shameful.  I digress. What I thought this question asked of me was to find the area of a scalene triangle. Thus, the triangle would have looked like this:
So it would have a triangular peak at the center, so I thought that I needed to substitute (100 - x) to one side and find the x using quadratic formula. Trust me, I've tried to find the height through any way possible, to come to the realization that I was picturing the image wrong in my mind.
So the height is 30 feet, correct?

Hi. I just did the question. The total area that I got was 9500 squared feet.
So this is what I did:
Area of rectangle= 100 x 80
= 8000ft squared

Area of triangle=
=0.5 x 30 x 100
= 1500 ft squared

Thus, I got the total area of 9500 ft squared. I am not sure how you got 950ft squared
