√(X -1 ) = -8 This equation has no solution, because square roots can not have a negative value.
X - 1 = 64
X = 65 , Test: √ (65 -1 ) = √ 64 = 8
if it was meant to be negative square root of 64 , the equation should be
9 - √ (X -1) = 9.
