h=-16t^2+22t+160

a ball is thrown straight up from a rooftop 160 feet high. the formula below describes the ball's height above the ground, h, in feet, t seconds after it was thrown. the ball misses the rooftop on it's way down. the graph of the formula is shown determine when the ball's height will be 140 feet and identify the solution as a point on the graph h=-16t^2+22t+160

Just FYI,
The only difference between what John F did and what Andrew M did was that John F
decided to solve using the quadratic formula, whereas Andrew M solved by factoring.
Both methods work, if the equation is factorable, and the solution was the same.
You can use whichever you prefer.  :-)
