With a radius of 14 inches, the area of the circle overall is Pi(r2) = 3.14(142) = 615.44. in2
There are 360 degrees in the circle so 30 degrees is 30 out of 360 or 30/360 = 1/12 of the circle
(1/12)(615.44) = 51.3 in2

sector area = 1/2*r2Θ, where r = radius and Θ is in radians
so area = 1/2 (14)2Π/6 because 30O* Π/180O = Π/6
area = 51.3 in2 (you're welcome)
