75% is also 3/4

 

So we want to know, 3/4 of what number of kilometers (X) is equal to 240:

3/4 * X = 240

Divide both sides by 3/4

 

240 / 3/4 = X

240 X 4/3 = X (flip the fraction when you divide by a fraction)

320 = X

 

Answer:  320 kilometers
