As written, the problem makes no sense. If you really meant to say that line segment ab and line segment ac are congruent, then the triangle is isoceles. In such case the angles opposite these two segments would also be congruent. If you label each as x, then you can write tbe equation 180 = 50 + 2x. x must therefore equal 65 degrees. So the measure of angle b (and c) is 65 degrees.
