how do you find the quotient and remainder if f(x) is divided by p(x)? f(x)=x²-3, f(x)=2x^4-x³-3x²+6x-8

May you help be step by step?

John R.

You have both formulas as f(x).  I am assuming that one of them is p(x).  Can you verify if one of them (I would guess x2 - 3) is actually p(x)?
