Hi Jackson, can you be more specific about which part of the explanation is throwing you off? Basically, the equation an = (n+2)/(n+1) tells you how to find the nth term of the sequence. If you're looking for the 1st term, then n = 1. For the 2nd term, n = 2. The pattern continues like that, so if we want the 99th term, then n = 99.
