The best time to start career planning is right now! Whether you are a senior in college, high school, or are currently in your professional career, you can always start thinking about what kind of career you want to have and what you need to do to get there. I think an important thing to also remember is to also be adaptable. When adults ask children "What they want to be when they grow up?" the answer may not be the same if asked 1, 5 or 10 years later. It is always a good idea to explore your academic interests and technical skills. For example, do you like art, science, math or writing? As you go through life, you'll discover the things that spark your interest and what you're good at. Being adaptable also means that you don't limit yourself to one field or another. The first step to a success career is being happy in whatever you do!

I believe that planning your career for ultimate success should begin as early as possible. Whether you're in high school, college, or already in the workforce, it's crucial to assess your interests, skills, and long-term goals. In high school, I started by exploring different subjects and participating in extracurricular activities to discover what truly fascinated me. As I entered the workforce, I focused on building a strong foundation in my chosen field, seeking mentorship, and setting clear career objectives. In my mid-career, I've made it a habit to periodically reassess my goals to ensure they align with my evolving interests and circumstances. Regardless of your career stage, I've learned that staying updated, developing new skills, and remaining open to opportunities is key to achieving a successful and fulfilling career. Career planning is an ongoing journey, and the earlier you embark on it, the better prepared you'll be for the future. How's your journey going?
