In this video, I go through an example reaction of a common sulfur-containing compound, sulfuric acid, otherwise known as H2SO4, with a strong base, Sodium Hydroxide, NaOH which is a neutralization double displacement reaction neutralizing the acidic basic properties forming a salt and water usually with a pH of around 7.

Isabelle N., Really, this is too open a question. If there's a strippable -H in a -SH moiety, obviously that's coming off. But OH(-) isn't a very good nucleophile, is it?02/01/23
