How to Align an Object to the Center of a PowerPoint Table Cell?

I have a circle shape that I want aligned to the middle of a table in Powerpoint. How can I do so?

Create your table and your object on the same slide.

Draw a selection over the 2 objects completely covering every part of both.

With both objects selected click "Shape Format" up in the ribbon (popup tab) located to the right of regular tabs.

In the "Arrange group" choose "Align" icon.

From the dropdown 1st choose "Align Center".

Then choose "Align Middle".

Voila!!

They should be perfectly aligned to each other.
