Peppermint oil and antiseptic mouthwash

Upon mixing peppermint oil and antiseptic mouthwash in a test tube I noticed immediately a white precipitate forms. I attempted to look up why this was except I couldn’t find any information anywhere on the internet. I was hoping that someone could tell me what chemical reaction is taking place and what the product is that forms.

For both of those "reagents" there is likely to be a number of compounds involved. It's difficult to answer unless you know everything that could be contributing to the reaction.

Why assume a chemical reaction? The oil could be "salting out" an alcohol-soluble solid. Purely a physical process.

So go look up the antiseptic mouthwash ingredients at a supermarket. Then hop on the internet, and check the chemical structures of each. Make an educated guess which isn't oil-soluble, and there you are (it has to be a solid, though!)
