What are some words I should remove from my resume?

Having a good resume is not enough to land the interview. Your resume should be specific to each position you are applying for. That said, there are certain words that should be updated to reflect your positive impact on each organization you have worked with in the past (and your current position if applicable).

Some of these words or phrases are:

responsible for

strategic thinker

problem solving skills

obsessive

attention to detail

There are many more. Schedule a session with a resume specialist/ career development tutor to bring your resume into the 21st century.
