Hard to say too much on this because something you tried to include with your question is not displaying properly. There is no such compound, ethenal. There is, however, ethanal, which is essentially ethane with a carbonyl group.
"Ethenal" implies a carbon-carbon double bond AND a carbonyl group, which isn't going to form. Google structures for ethanal and propenal (Acrolein), and I think you'll see this more clearly.
