Where do I use the custom armor on Halo master chief

Question

I made some awesome custom armor, and I have no idea how to use it in game. It doesn't go over to any of the games, and I've tried couch co op and a couple multiplayer things. Where can I see my armor in action?

1. Main Menu
2. Options & Career
3. Customization

From here you can see the different pieces of armor.
