The special edition box, I believe is the second box twice overlapping in the middle. I tried making an augmented matrix using the number of colors/shapes in each box but that did not work.

Solving the equation of simultaneous equations with the 3 shapes (variables), you find that the

square = $8

anvil =$10

triangle =$6

The figures in the big box are 2 squares + 3 anvils + 1 triangle or

2 x $8 + 3 x $10 + 1 x $6 = $52
