A doctor orders 5.0 of morphine. The vial of morphine on hand is 20. per 4.0 . How many milliliters of morphine should you administer to the patient?

You didn't include any units with the problem, so I will assume that the morphine dose to be given is 5.0 mg. The vial contains 20 mg per 4 mL, so to deliver 5.0 mg the doctor must inject 4.0 mL / 20 mg x 5.0 mg = 1.0 mL.
