how do i solve this problem in excel

In cell B8, create a formula without using a function that multiplies the value in cell B7 by the value in cell B6 and then adds the value in B7. In this formula, use a mixed reference for cell B6 by including an absolute reference to row 6.

Do you know why it comes up as !VALUE, and then displays an error symbol?

Because I tried it and that's what occurred.

Applied f4 to "B6" so it made the entire cell an absolute reference ($B$6) rather than (B$6) which is only to the row. Wish I could just READ, hah
