How was English music brought over continental Europe?

After the Hundred Year's War (1337 - 1453) between France and England, it left English influence and its music onto Europe. Especially the Battle of Agincourt in 1415, composers and musicians would sing the Mass and perform secular music. As a result, the French was amused by the consonant music the English provided.
