If you could create your own club or organization, what type of club or organization would it be? What type of skills would be required to be in the club or organization?

In my opinion, any club or organization must have as a primary objective to serve other people's needs.

It also needs to be in alignment with the passions and talents that the owner posseses in order to make a difference.

For instance, if I am interested in story telling, I would create a human library, where people will be able to join and gather to listen and tell their stories of their lives. This is because, I personally value the fact that every human being has a story to tell to the world, and has the right to express it.

This means that if I want to create that as a philantropic organization, the following skills must be taken into account:

1. Passion and a drive to help others
2. An interest on self-development
3. Willingness to make a difference in the world.
4. Be compassionate, caring, and tolerant
5. Every member will need to commit with a minimum of time to participate of weekly activities.
6. Be proactive

Although, there are several other skills required, for this specific example, the ones mentioned above are the most important ones.

Any organization has to have a clear mission and vision statement, as well as a meaningful purpose to serve the needs of a community.
