I'm guessing this is supposed to be:

 

2a²b       b
-------- * ---
 b²c        a

 

Is that right?

 

When multiplying rational expressions, you just multiply across, the numerators by the numerators, and the denominators by the denominators.

 

So the numerator becomes 2a²b² and the denominator becomes ab²c

 

So the result is

 

2a²b²

--------

ab²c

 

But you can reduce this by canceling out a and b² from the top and bottom.  That gives you:

 

2a
