Need the chemical reaction taking place to calculate the theoretical yield. What is the reaction?
To calculate the moles of glycine, divide by the molar mass of glycine. Then use the the conversion factor 1 1000 mmole= 1 mole (multiply by 1000). For acetic anhydride, multiply by the density to obtain the mass in g. Then, similar to glycine, divide by the molecular weight to obtain the moles. Convert to mmole by multiplying by 1000.
