Personally, law school and "real" work experience in the legal field do not correlate well with the bar exam. Realistic? The statistics aren't good, but statistics don't measure individual drive. If you've got the desire, determination, and discipline, you can do it! You will be surprised how much black letter law you'll remember once you start reviewing. I have several professional friends who failed the bar four times each and finally passed, and they didn't skip a beat from graduating law school and all of them already worked in the field. Don't give up on your dream if that's your dream!
How realistic are my chances of passing the bar after being out of law school for almost 4 years and not having worked in a legal environment at all?
