I want to become an Estate Agent.

Question

I'm currently seeking a new career and have chosen to go towards become an Estate Agent.

I have completed level 3 Estate Agent diploma, customer service training and office administration in my own time, but i am struggling to find anyone who will hire me.

Obviously I am aware i don't have any IN OFFICE work experience but I feel as if my current training has gone to waste.

What can I do?

Hi Zoe, it sounds like you've done a lot of the hard work to make sure that you are qualified to begin working as an Estate Agent. As you've encountered sometimes getting into a new field can be the most challenging part. What types of job hunting strategies have you used so far? If you have only been applying to job postings online you are putting yourself at a real disadvantage. Networking is the key to entering a new field or making a major career change. I would be happy to talk with you about strategies to better improve your networking range.
