Excel hyperlink not redirecting properly (bug?)?

I have an Excel hyperlink problem: I click on, let's say `A1`, copy the link in it (`http://www.godaddy.com/domains/searchresults.aspx?ci=54814`), right click on hyperlink and copy that SAME URL as the link (if it is not automatically detected and changed).When I go to click on it, I am redirected to `http://www.godaddy.com/domains/search.aspx?ci=53972`.If I copy and paste the link directly into the browser, it works fine (i.e., I am not redirected to a different URL).Does anyone know what's going on?

Hi, I'm not entirely sure I'm following your question but what I imagine is happening is a disconnect between the actual hyperlink address and the displayed hyperlink address. So in your cell A1 your hyperlink looks like the address you want. If you make A1 active for editing (e.g., F2 or double clicking in the cell) and copy the text of the hyperlink and paste it into your web browser, you are copying the actual text in A1 (i.e., link ending in 54814) and that is the link you go to. However, if you right click on A1 (not making the cell active) and copy you are actually copying the address of the hyperlink. So when you paste that address into the web browser the actual hyperlink address is pasted (i.e., link ending in 53972). You can check this by right clicking on the cell and choosing Edit Hyperlink. Here you can check to see if the Text to display box and the Address box are the same or not.
