Why doesn't double clicking the bottom row border automatically adjust the row height in Office 365 Excel on the Mac?

When you place your mouse pointer on the separator line between the ROW headings, you should get a double-headed vertical arrow. Then double click and it should adjust to the largest size font in the ROW.

This works on Excel for the MAC 365, 2019, 2016 and 2011.

Make certain that you are not in editing mode before you double click the separator line.
