What is the Windows equivalent of the Unix command cat? ?
I want to do exactly what unix "cat" does, but on my PC. Is there a simple equivalent command for the Windows command line? Specifically I want to create a file from all the files of a given type in a folderIn Unix: cat *fna >all_fna_files.fna(which joins all the ".fna" text files into one big text file)

Well the DOS command TYPE displays the contents of the file...
You can write a BUNDLE script that combines the contents of each file
into one big file

I don't know when it happened, but today (July 2, 2020) I tried CAT in my windows 10 system today and it worked. CAT --help will show you all the available flags and such. NICE!07/02/20
