College/Career coach

Question

I am looking for someone who can help my daughter sort through her current college work and potential career choices. She has been attending community college, thought she knew what she wanted, but has decided the this is not the right thing for her. So am looking for someone who can help her sort through her many gifts and talents, and help her come up with a path to a degree that will be helpful for her long term. Campus college counseling has not been helpful.

Choosing a wonderful career for oneself is probably the second most important decision one can make, the first being choosing a mate of course!

I believe I can help your daughter with a game plan that includes her being aware of the many possibilities. We'll need an hour or two to come up with a game plan to find the answer to this important question.

And whatever she decides, I applaud her for taking the time to find a direction that will bring her joy.

I will say this, for several years we were all told to follow our passion, but now those who study these things have found out that when we follow our talents and skills, we are much happier. In other words, the very act of doing something well brings pride, satisfaction and money.
