How do I make Dreamweaver to show me closing tags?

I would like Dreamweaver to show me the opening/closing tag when I select a tag. This functionality is seen in many editors, I know for sure Eclipse has it. To make things clearer: When I select/highlight a `<div>` opening tag with my mouse I would like Dreamweaver to select/highlight the `</div>` closing tag. **My main questions:** 1. Does anybody know what this functionality is called? 2. Does anybody know how to add this functionality to Dreamweaver?

I use Dreamweaver6 so I can't say for sure that 5 works the same way. When I type in the opening tag such as <h1> and then type </ it automatically fills in h1> and then I just have to click enter to accept it.

I believe the functionality you are looking for is called Code Hints in Preferences.

You can set coding preferences:

1) Select Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Dreamweaver > Preferences (Macintosh).

2) Select Code Hints from the category on the left.

3) Specify how you want Dreamweaver to close tags.

1. After typing "</" - 
2. After typing the open tag's ">" - Select this option if you want Dreamweaver to automatically add a closing tag after you close the opening tag.
3. Never - Set this option if you don't want Dreamweaver to automatically add closing tags.
